TOSLINK Optical Audio Cables – Digital SPDIF Audio Cable-Can be customed
TOSLINK is the abbreviation of Toshiba Link. It is also a standard optical digital audio interface. It is widely used by Japanese manufacturers on CD and MD machines. It is used to transmit digital audio signals (left and right or multi-channel) through a kind of optical conductor, using light as carrier between various devices. TOSLINK can use plastic optical fibers as audio jumpers. PMMA core plastic fibers with diameter of 1.0 mm and numerical aperture (NA) of 0.5 are commonly used. The sheath is (flame retardant) PVC. The color of the sheath is 2.2 mm in black, red and blue; 4.0 mm; 5.0 mm; 6.0 mm, and the length of jumper is usually less than 50 meters.

Toslink works by sending pulses of red light through the cable producing hi fidelity sound to a home theater, audio device or gaming console. These Toslink cables feature a fully molded connector with a strain relief boot to ensure a superb connection and long lasting cable life.
